Lionel went to go to work at a car wash and go work with Felix and Jamar and all 3 would go and clean cars to get money while Lionel Felix and Jamar cleaning to expensive car Jamar was telling Lionel to just drop out of school and go live with him and his cousins so he wouldn't have to deal with the teachers and school anymore but Lionel knew his parents would be really angry at him and his dad would kick him out of the house that's why Jamar told Lionel to go live with him and then Felix began to talk about how he dropped out of school for 3 years already and really regrets it and would go back in a heartbeat but he doesn't babe enough to money to pay it and he has to pay more bills that he can't pay because his girlfriend is pregnant and has to pay all these medical bills but the job he's working with Lionel and Jamar isn't paying enough and Lionel can't think at all because of what Jamar and Felix where telling him because he was thinking hoemiphis family would think if he dropped out how his mom would scream at him when she came back from the army and dad would be very upset with him too because he doesn't really like Lionel's idea of just playing basketball and trying out for the NBA but his dad thinks it won't work out for Lionel that's why his dad and mom are working hard jobs so Lionel can do good in school do have more chances than trying to go to the NBA

the book right now it's about a guy named lionel and he goes to Buford high school and his dream is to play basketball to be in the NBA. The problem is that he's more focused on playing basketball than doing good in school, his father is getting really upset and he might not let Lionel play or join the basketball team because of how he's doing in school. His teacher Mrs. Henley gave Lionel a envelope  saying he's not doing so well in school and Lionel is scared that his dad would get really angry at him and would not let him join the basketball team.
